#BirthdayTrip!
So for my birthday I decided to go to Iceland. I know, "Girl what? Why?" Well if you haven't noticed, I'm into the things others aren't paying attention to, I could've went to a beach and sat in the sun but I didn't want to. I wanted to do something most people can't tell me about, and let me tell you it was an experience. First of all, Iceland is expensive as fuuuccckkk. The cab drive from the airport to the airbnb was two hundred dollars. Yes, you're reading that right, I was like "oh, this one of those." in my haha Davis voice. However, besides that Iceland is really fun if you don't mind the weather. You can go snowmobiling on glaciers, chill in the lagoons, or even have drinks with the locals. Their club scene is very different from ours though, it's more relaxed. I must admit that I didn't get to experience it that much but going out on a Sunday night in Iceland VS back home in Chicago was enough. Besides the partying there is soooooo much to do for the adventurous soul. They have a ski resort there and I'm already planning when Im going back to experience that, maybe when I settle down and have some kids, maybe the end of the year. Who knows cause I know I never do lol. However, if you do decide to go to Iceland my advice would be to rent a car but be very careful as wondering alone, some roads are not passable and I guess people lose their cars quite often there. It'll be cheaper than using the tourist service because most of the sites are free just have to get there. On the other hand, the air is crisp, the water is delicious, and the views are breathtaking, this is a place that I believe everybody should see once in life. If you're looking for any recommendations feel free to reach out!! Check out some photos. I have them here at the bottom of the page but there is also an entire page dedicated to the photos from Iceland.
